I live in Lovedean with my grown up daughter who is a professional photographer, our 3 cats and a dog, all of which are rescues. I work as a computer science lecturer in Highbury College, and when not at work I love exploring the countryside with the dog, or spending time at home relaxing with the pets.
I have had cats all my life, and currently have Jinx and Kaspar who came as a pair from the RSPCA 10 years ago and Gemini who came from the blue cross as a tiny kitten 5 years ago. They all have very distinct personalities! Kaspar is nicknamed Bagpuss as he is so laid back and cuddly, Jinx is the smallest and naughtiest and Gemini has never grown out of being a kitten.
I also have experience of owning and looking after other small fluffies including guinea pigs, rabbits and hamsters. I treat my pets as my family, and when looking after other peoples pets I treat them as I would my own - well and truly spoilt!

That included cat visits and even homing cats while clients were away for extended periods. I have retained a couple of local clients since this time, as I just love it. I would like to earn a bit more income, but honestly don’t want to have to start a business myself again.
