Hello, I’m Heather, and I started Purrfect Company in April 2016.
I’ve always loved cats and take great pride in providing cat parents with a truly high level of customer service. My background is in print and design, working with brands such as Tesco, Burger King, Subway and Rolls‑Royce. This experience has given me strong customer service and project management skills, which I’ve applied to growing Purrfect Company into what it is today.
As the business grew, I began working with additional sitters in 2017 to help meet demand. Since then, we’ve expanded across Portsmouth and into surrounding areas including Southampton and Romsey. We now have a network of over 30 trusted sitters working with Purrfect Company.
I continue to personally manage all initial enquiries and oversee bookings to ensure everything runs smoothly. You will always have me available for any questions before, during or after your sit, alongside your dedicated sitter.
All sitters are fully insured, DBS checked, and carefully selected. I take great care in choosing the right people - ensuring they have the reliability, experience and personality needed to provide a truly Purrfect service. I trust every sitter we work with, and I know they will care for your cats with genuine love and attention.
We also have a fantastic sitter network, with a WhatsApp group where we share updates, support each other and ensure we can provide cover if needed. This means we can offer flexibility, even during busy periods or unexpected situations.

What do we do at Purrfect Company?
Your sitter will visit your home, let themselves in, and spend time caring for your cat - feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter trays, playing, chatting and giving them plenty of love and attention while you’re away.
You can book one or two 30‑minute visits per day, depending on your cat’s needs - if you're not sure you can discuss this with your sitter at the meeting.
You’ll also receive a daily update with a photoand videos to keep you reassured that everything is going well at home.
It’s not just cats either - we’re happy to care for other small pets too, from fish and rabbits to even African snails!
Your sitter can also help with small household tasks such as putting the bins out, watering plants, and opening or closing curtains for added peace of mind and home security (and also checking you closed all the windows when you rushed out the door!)
