I have had cats ever since I moved out of my parents home at 16 and I don't think I could ever live in a house without one. My first ginger tom lived with me from 6 weeks old to 22 years of age.
My full time job is at the University and I also work part time at the Wedgewood Rooms so am quite social and busy but nothing gives me greater pleasure than some down time playing and chatting with cats of all shapes and sizes.

As well as cat sitting, I am a freelance Drama Teacher and Theatre Practitioner working in and around Portsmouth. I enjoy working with young people and I am passionate about the importance of the arts in education.
I grew up with cats in my family home and couldn’t really imagine a house without them. I am so grateful that people trust me to go into their homes and spend time with the furry members of their families. It is a privilege to get to know so many cats and their humans!

Hello, my name is Carrie-Ann, I live in Southsea and have done so for 6 years now. I have 3 beautiful tuxedo cats, the two sleeping together are Vinnie just over a year old, Lily 2 years old and the floating queen is Poppy coming in at 4 years old.
I grew up with cats, and then when just before lockdown happened Poppy came along and got me through it all. She’s the queen bee and quite honestly I love her so much. Lily and Vinnie followed shortly after and I very much consider them all my children.
I work for a University and go to the gym twice a week for Aquafit, I love to bake and cook. But I’m happiest when sat playing with cats.

I've been around cats my whole life growing up and in recent years. We have been fostering a cat through Portsmouth cats lost found and re-homed, who has become a member of the family.
I am currently a student at Portsmouth university studying computer technology, however I am taking a year out to do some paid work and also take a break from Uni before my final year.

My favourite events are obstacle course Mud Runs! My children are very active and keep me busy with their activities cycling and dancing.

Pickle is mainly an indoor cat due to the roads around where we live so we have built her her very own catio so she can enjoy some fresh air whenever she likes. Having grown up with pet cats around me since birth, I simply couldn’t imagine a life without them! I have been the proud ‘mum’ of two gorgeous black and white females Mitzi and Mollie, for nearly 14 years, having had them since they were 8 weeks old. In addition, I’ve looked after friends’ cats and helped with rescuing strays too.
Alongside cats, my other passion is writing. Before taking a career break in 2019 to return to university to embark on a masters degree in creative writing, I worked in customer services and housing for over 20 years.
